Asha Dangol
Asha Dangol is a visual artist and founder members of Kasthamandap Art Studio & E-Arts Nepal, who uses the mediums of ceramics, woods as well as paintings to bring forth his ideas in his art work. He paints his inspiration from folk art and his most recent series consisted with the Avatars series. He was the winner of the 2006 National Art Exhibition organized by the Nepal Association of Fine Arts, also awarded with Gold Medal in 2003 from Arniko Yuwa Sewa Kosh, and Best Award in National Film Festival in 2005. He has organized eight solo exhibitions in Nepal and has participated in many group exhibitions around the world. His works have been exhibited in countries like Bhutan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Belgium, South Korea, Holland and the United States.
